Scientific rationale Understanding the extent of ice sheets and patterns of sea-level changes in the geological past is fundamental to gauge the challenges our coasts face as greenhouse gases emissions continue unabated and the climate warms. Thus, the overarching goal of the meeting will be to foster exchanges between the communities working on paleo, modern, and future changes in ice sheets and sea levels. We foresee working together to improve regional and global future sea-level change predictions, informed by the past.

ECRs and DCRs attendance Our sponsors will support the travel of Early Career Researchers and Researchers from Developing Countries (ECRs and DCRs). Information as too how to apply for support can be found on the conference website: https://palsea2022.org/
Logistics The workshop will take place after the WCRP conference in Singapore (https://www.sealevelconference.org/). The first day (July 17th) will be dedicated to optional visits to field sites in Singapore. Of course, we are conscious of the limitations posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are therefore planning a hybrid workshop. However, we are confident that a substantial part of the meeting will take place in person, and we are planning accordingly.
